Things to do near Koekais Guest Farm - Griekwastad

A little further away in Douglas, is the Douglas Wine Cellar where a wide variety of table and dessert wines are produced and where visitors are welcomed. The confluence of the Orange and Vaal Rivers can be viewed near Douglas as well as the Glacier Floors where the markings of ice passing can be seen.

WITSAND NATURE RESERVE
Northwest from Griekwastad is the Witsand Nature Reserve which is famous for its red sand contrasting with white sand dunes.
Salem is a farm about 45km from Griekwastad where horse rides are offered for both the experienced and new horse rider. They also offer donkey cart rides and activities for young and old.
