MARY MOFFAT MUSEUM
The Mary Moffat museum in Griekwastad offers a glimpse of the rich history of the area including history of David Livingstone and Robert Moffat and of course artifacts of Bushmen who lived in the area.
The town also is home to Earth Treasures where articles made of various kinds of semi-precious stones as well as paintings are for sale.

CONFLUENCE OF THE ORANGE- AND VAAL RIVERS
A little further away in Douglas, is the Douglas Wine Cellar where a wide variety of table and dessert wines are produced and where visitors are welcomed. The confluence of the Orange and Vaal Rivers can be viewed near Douglas as well as the Glacier Floors where the markings of ice passing can be seen.
WITSAND NATURE RESERVE
Northwest from Griekwastad is the Witsand Nature Reserve which is famous for its red sand contrasting with white sand dunes.
